1) My feedback was mostly positive, although I had some feedback as to make it better. One was that I didn't seem as personable as I should be. As I'm talking about a touchy and emotional subject, environmental issues, I should seem a bit more sensitive and not as bland. Secondly, I seemed not as professional as I could be. My posture was slouched and timid, and I could have been more loud and excitable.
2) Based on the feedback I tried to really work on my posture and business presence. I wanted to communicate that I had a full and interesting business proposition, not stating some idea that I might have in store. I think this helped me look more professional and persuasive. Secondly, I used my hands a lot more. I wanted to convey more emotion than my last pitch, so by using my hands meaningfully, I think I did that.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI think that you did really well with your pitch. You took your feedback from both previous pitches and built on that to really improve your pitch. Some main things that I liked was that you had a great into that set up the problem that you are fixing. And that you mentioned how your solution will not only help the environment, but also be appealing to college students because it would offer lower prices. I also like that you used “home run” when you were talking about the “college student” part, because it puts the listener in the mindset of being a student invested in their team (which is your team- your product).
Hi Nick,
ReplyDeleteGreat job on taking the feedback received and working on the issues from your previous elevator pitch. Your delivery was packed with valuable information and facts regarding the problem and your solution. Your business concept is one that I believe would greatly benefit our environment. Great use of your hand gestures and dressing professionally. The only thing I would work on is your posture. You kept swaying back and forth, which was a bit distracting, but besides that, your pitch was excellent!
Hi Nick,
ReplyDeleteGreat job on this pitch! Your tone of voice, energy level and information provided were awesome! It's good that you were able to take the feedback you received on your previous pitch and create another that better reflects the ideas of your business model. I think that dressing professionally really adds to the pitch and will make others take your business proposition more seriously. Using your hands created a more personable feel to your pitch and showed that you were comfortable presenting the information.
